Monday Thoughts from a Locked Down Law Student...
Happy Monday everyone!
Monday's have become very different for me in the last few weeks, as I'm sure they have for a lot of people.
My 'normal' Monday consisted of a 4 am start, an hour at the gym before getting ready for work and heading in to the office so I can get started at around 7:30 am to plan my week. After a busy day at work I would head home and begin my study schedule for the week- I'm a strong believer in starting the week in the right way being the key to a successful week.
My Mondays now look very different... Up until last week I was still working remotely, however I have now been placed on the government 'furlough' scheme, as have many others. However, I still like to keep to a routine. So far this morning I have sat and enjoyed the sun with a cup of coffee, and have a plan for the day full of freelance writing jobs, studying, and starting some online courses.
It's definitely different, but I'm grateful for this chance to slow down and reset. I, as much as anyone, love to be rushing around and I truly am missing it, but for now all we can do is keep busy and wait for it to be over.
I'd love to hear from you all about how your world has changed in the last few weeks. Please do get in touch in the comments below!
Stay safe everyone.
